Cars Will Keep You Poor

And Other Truths Every Driver Should Know

Aaron R. Kleinmeyer
About

When was the last time you popped the hood of your car?

It’s okay, 68% of America can’t remember either.

This book spawns from not wanting to see another high school or college graduate go and buy a brand new car and then live in their parents basement for five years as a result.

The book was birthed from sitting with numerous people who are upside down in their car loan. Enough people have said, “This car is keeping me from buying a house!” A third of Americans are currently in this exact situation. They just don't realize it.

Enough parents of new drivers kept saying, “I need a resource for my kids so they know how to navigate the car buying and maintenance world." But deep down, they knew they needed the information too. From statistics to personal stories and more, this book will educate, inform, and hopefully change the outlook you have on car ownership.

More bells, more whistles, more money, more heartache, and there doesn't appear to be a remedy in sight.

Knowledge is power, and the best thing you can do is have the knowledge of the car industry so cars won't keep you poor.

Author

Aaron R. Kleinmeyer

Aaron lives in Kansas City, Missouri with his wife Kelsie and their two kids, Eli and Addie.

Aaron grew up around the automotive industry, and does not remember a time when he was not around mechanics and broken-down cars. His knowledge of cars was gained at a young age, and continues to be perfected by working on vehicles for a large base of folks who trust him to keep them running. His weekends are typically spent making broken things work again.

Through high school and college, Aaron worked for small auto shops, as well as big name corporations. He holds many expired automotive certifications. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary education from the University of Missouri, as well as a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Park University.

Currently, Aaron teaches middle school students woodworking and absolutely loves it. He thoroughly enjoys the transfer of knowledge and watching young eyes light up with new understanding.

Some call Aaron a dreamer. He doesn’t know if that is an accurate description, but he admits he longs for adventure and is always looking for the next opportunity.
